Tactics 2 Toys, LLC.

Enlisted in 1991 as a Combat Medic and am in my 32nd year and still going strong.  I am recently retired as the Command Sergeant Major of a reserve multifunctional Brigade.  I currently work as a civilian for the Army dealing with the medical issues of 13 states of reserve Soldiers.  I have deployed 5 times and had 2 stateside mobilizations totaling just over 8 years.  On deployment #5, I was pondering my future.  I realized that sooner or later, I will have to retire.  The big question was what do I wan the next chapter of my life to look like.  I had been buying and selling on the secondary market for fun but as thought about it more, it became a fledgling version of a business plan.  So in June 2015, sitting in a CLU in East Africa, Tactics 2 Toys was born. Upon redeployment In August 2015, I presented to my lovely wife.  She had no issues with it but there were 2 caveats.  I can't retire from anything yet and the house cannot become like an episode of Hoarders.  So 01JAN16, Tactics 2 Toys, LLC. went live.  It is a challenge doing this part-time, but I am having a blast in the process...I am building the airplane as I fly it. Why this?  I get asked this a lot.  Why don't I look into contract work, or military consulting, etc.  Bottom line, I have had to take everything so seriously for so long, I want to give the seriousness a break and have more fun one day.  Toys, games, and collectibles are the way for me...believe me, there is much more to it than that but I don't want you reading too long and get bored.
