Veterans Disability Law Firm

Veteran-owned law firm focusing on Veterans Disability Appeals for those Veterans and other claimants who want to appeal a decision for disability benefits by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. We handle appeals at every level from the Regional Office, Board of Veterans Appeals, and U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. We have represented hundreds of Veterans and have recovered millions of dollars of disability benefits owed to our clients.

For appeals before the VA (Regional Office & Board of Veterans Appeals) we work on a contingency basis and only get paid by our client if we win your appeal. For cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals, we only get paid if we win but our fees come from the government. We also cover the costs of obtaining necessary medical evidence, vocational expert evidence, and any other costs related to our client’s appeal.

If you are ready to appeal a decision for VA disability benefits give us a call today for a free case evaluation. Thank you for taking the time to read about our firm and thank you for your service!

Javier Centonzio

I decided to become a lawyer in honor of my friend, Sgt. Jessie Davila, who was killed in action while we were deployed to Iraq. My initial focus in the law was to help other Veterans navigate the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs disability system as a Veterans lawyer. However, I discovered that many of the Veterans I was helping obtain VA disability benefits also needed help with estate planning and elder law concerns. This realization led me back to law school, where I earned my Masters in Law (LL.M.) in Elder Law. My journey in the legal profession started with internships at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Regional Counsel, and The Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program (TVC). During my time at TVC, I was very fortunate to work at the National Veterans Legal Services Program, where I contributed to their renowned Veterans Benefits Manual. Once I graduated from law school, I had the great honor of serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Robert N. Davis at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. These experiences gave me incredible insight into Veterans Law and made me a better Veterans Disability Lawyer. I'm very fortunate to now lead a great team of VA disability lawyers at my law firm, Centonzio Law, PLLC. My firm also offers estate planning and probate representation. Still, our primary focus is helping Veterans and other claimants obtain the VA disability benefits they are entitled to receive. I'm proud of the work we do and the results we have achieved for our clients. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about what my law firm can do for Veterans or their surviving spouses. If you come across a Veteran (or claimant) who has been denied VA disability benefits or needs help to receive the proper disability rating from the VA, my team and I can help.
