House Doctors Handyman of Colorado Springs is committed to providing our customers with quality home repairs, that’s why all of our employees are screened with background checks and possess years of experience.

Your home is one of your most important investments and, when something needs fixed, it can be stressful. We’re Al Cazares and Su Crocker and we opened House Doctors of Colorado Springs because we saw that there was a real need to help busy families, single parents, veterans and seniors in our community to properly maintain and protect their homes. Our professional handyman can help with the repairs you don’t have the time, desire or expertise to take care of on your own. Our goal is to make home improvements easier for our customers by being on time, doing the job right and offering a one-year workmanship guarantee.

We are both retired Air Force veterans and we’ve lived in this community for more than 28 years. We raised our family here, we’re active members of Antioch Church in Colorado Springs and we’re looking forward to helping our neighbors get the most out of their homes. Contact us today to see how our experienced, insured, background checked, and uniformed handymen technicians can help.

Owner Profile

Al Cazares

Al spent 20 years in the Air Force, starting as an enlisted radio maintenance technician. The Air Force sponsored him to attend Arizona State, where he received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduation he was commissioned as an officer and served as a satellite systems engineer. Later he taught Aerospace studies at the University of Minnesota, where he was responsible for the training and selection of future Air Force Officers. After retiring he worked in government contracting and industry as a Program Manager, primarily focused in IT and telecommunications. In his last position he was a Technical Director, managing several contracts worth over $11 million per year in revenue with responsibility for more than 100 people in his company. Al was laid off in May 2015 and after seeking comparable employment for several months, he explored several franchise opportunities seeking to find one that might fit his lifestyle and personality while helping him achieve his financial goals. Through a three to four-month process, he and his wife determined that House Doctors, a professional handyman service company, most closely aligned with what they were looking for. They decided to take the plunge and become entrepreneurs in January 2016 and opened up their doors for business in April. Al met his wife, Su Crocker, while attending ASU. They have been married for 36 years and have three children and eleven grandchildren. They both are active volunteers in their church and Al supports a ministry podcast called Daily Audio Bible once a month, packing coffee, tea, and merchandise orders from their warehouse headquarters in Colorado Springs.
