The GO-KOT® mission is to produce the most durable cot on the market, support those who help others, and to honor God in what we do. We’re committed to helping get those in need off the ground and we humbly support mission work. From homeless ministries in our local community to missionaries and mission groups all over the world, our cots are getting those in need off the ground.

Owner Profile

Teresa Downing

Teresa founded MGT Manufacturing in 2017 and, as the President and Owner, she is responsible for all aspects of the company.  MGT Manufacturing designs, manufactures, and sells GO-KOT® brand camping cots.  The GO-KOT® brand has been manufactured in Alabama since 1978 and are some of the highest quality cots made. Prior to MGT, Teresa has run several successful businesses to include a pizza restaurant, retail storefront, and a manufacturer’s representative firm.  She is active in the local business community and has served as President of the local chamber of commerce.  Teresa is a 20-year Veteran of the United States Air Force.
