Veteran Textile Towels

Yusuf Arslan was born and raised in a beautiful city called Iskenderun, Turkey. When he was 17 he came to the United States and attended language institute at Bentley College in Boston Mass. After he finished his language training he moved to Connecticut. Like every immigrant he came to America with hopes of fulfilling the American Dream. After he became a resident of the United States, he had to start from nothing and moved up the ladder like every other immigrant. He started working with his cousins at Captains Deli Mart in Bridgeport and a year later he managed his own ice cream shop in New Haven. Then he found an opportunity to join the military. Yusuf Arslan joined the military as a translator interpreter/cultural advisor in 2004 under the military intelligence. After numerous deployments he jumped rank immediately due to his excellence in training and recommendations from his commanders. Being a good leader to his peers and completed all of the assigned missions with excellence. Yusuf Arslan speaks fluent Turkish, Arabic with the dialects. After multiple injuries Yusuf Arslan decided to leave the military with 11 years of service. After the military Yusuf Arslan got involved with a business man from Turkey who wanted to invest in business in America. He paired up with a fellow named Ozgur Bora and opened their first company Bora Bora LLC which is a laundromat in 2014 in the Ansonia area. A couple of years later they expanded and opened Bora Bora Express in Waterbury is a small fast food restaurant along with that they invested into the online business called Veteran Textile Towels on Amazon.com. The company sells high quality, 100% cotton bath towels which are imported from Turkey. Yusuf Arslan also paired up with his brother Ali Arslan and they opened Uncle Al’s Ice Cream Shop in Monroe, CT. Yusuf Arslan with all the training and expertise from the military and background he became successful business man in the areas of Ansonia, Waterbury, CT and Monroe CT. Also, with the work of both Yusuf and Ozgur and their online business they have sold towels all around the U.S. Yusuf Arslan loves to play soccer, listen to music, swimming and like to get involved with the community helping the less fortunate. He is happily married to Serap Arslan, who is also from Turkey and have 2 beautiful children who resides in Ansonia, CT. His wife Serap is a stay at home mom who is striving to get a job as a Lab Technician. While his son and daughter attend an elementary school in Ansonia, CT.
