2019 Veterans Business Battle

Applications are being accepted for the 2019 Veterans Business Battle. The event gives military veterans an opportunity to pitch their business plans.  They pitch to a panel of investors for the opportunity of investments, business partnerships, and prize money. In the last three years, more than $3 million investment offers have been extended.

To apply, applicants must submit a business plan on the competition website, https://business.rice.edu/veterans-business-battle by Feb. 1, 2019.

The businesses must be majority owned by an honorably discharged military veteran living in the United States.

Both early-stage businesses and existing companies needing growth capital are encouraged to apply.

The finalists will be invited to make their business pitch April 12-13, 2019 at Rice University.

All types of businesses are encouraged. Previous winners include technology firms, retail products, commercial drone business, technology firms and more.
